This is a highly controversial mater in the face of what went on in the 2020 National elections in many states across the country. This leads to many questions of whether ballot drop boxes are secure, the risk of massive fraud in so many ways that can be perpetrated when massive mail in balloting is used, and I can't even fathom why voter ID has become an issue. I have a drivers license and I was also issued a voter ID card. I have no problem identifying myself when I show up at the poles.
The argument of voter ID being a barrier for different groups of people because they are to stupid to obtain a legal ID is ludicrous. I personally believe that providing a proper ID, showing up at the assigned polling place on election day, and limiting the issuance of mail in ballots to only those who have properly identified themselves and given reasonable excuse as to why they will not be able to vote in person on election day. This is how it has been in the county I lived in through my younger years. It has worked for over a half a century that I know of.
Whether or not Missouri has had extensive voter fraud in the past is not an observation that supports an argument of whether or not our Great State should make sure a valid, fair, and secure election process has been put in place to guarantee the outcome of all elections within the State if Missouri.
