Amendment 5

Don’t fall for the promise of lowering your State tax by eliminating the Income tax. The State will have Sales tax, personal property tax, and real estate property tax to fall back on. Unless you would like to see your sales tax rise into the double digits, your personal property tax doubled, and your real estate property tax skyrocketed to higher than New Hampshire’s, then do not vote for this attempt to block our movement to get rid of property tax. This initiative could end home ownership and family farming in this state,

The 100 Goldback is Officially Being Discontinued

When the 100 denomination was first released in 2025, it was a huge success. At the time, we planned for it to be a part of every future series.

Now, the 100 Goldback is being discontinued. The Idaho Goldback series will be the final series to include a 100.

Staying Focused on Everyday Use

Goldback Idaho 100 note

Since the beginning, our goal has been to make gold accessible, usable, and practical for everyday exchange. Smaller denominations play a key role in that mission. They make it easier for more people to participate and help Goldbacks circulate more naturally in daily transactions. This is why we have introduced the 1/4 Goldback and will be discontinuing the 100.

Currently, the 100 Goldback represents over half the cost of a full series. When it first launched, it was valued around $500, and thanks to gold’s record year, that cost has exceeded $1,000! By discontinuing the 100, the cost of collecting a full series will decrease by around 50%, making it much more practical to do so.

Given its higher value, the 100 does not circulate as often as other denominations. It also comes at a higher price point compared to other 1/10th oz gold products on the market. These issues have only compounded as gold prices have increased.

To better support our mission of making an affordable, practical gold currency, future series will focus on lower denominations—like the new 1/4 Goldback. The 1/4 will be included in upcoming launches, including phase 1 of California and the Utah and Nevada refreshes.

What This Means Going Forward

While no new 100s will be produced, they will remain a part of the Goldback ecosystem. Here’s what to expect moving forward:

  • Existing 100 Goldbacks will continue to be accepted within the Goldback network.
  • Upcoming releases will not include a 100 Goldback denomination.
  • The remaining 100 Goldbacks will be sold.
  • The Liberty design will return to the 50 denomination for future series.

Looking Ahead

This shift allows Goldback to stay aligned with its core purpose: keeping gold practical for everyday transactions.

By focusing on smaller denominations, Goldbacks become more accessible to people everywhere.

Thank you for your continued support and participation in the Goldback community!
